DPLANE – Deep Plane Hands-On

General Goal:
To enable surgeons to perform deep plane facelifts with confidence, anatomical precision, and attention to long-term results through expert-guided immersion.

Specific Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to:

  • Identify surgical landmarks and neurovascular structures relevant to deep plane facelifting.
  • Execute flap elevation in deep and sub-SMAS planes with safety and consistency.
  • Reposition facial and neck structures with natural vector tension.
  • Address jowls, nasolabial folds, and neck laxity in a deep plane approach.
  • Manage intraoperative bleeding, nerve risk, and postoperative complications.
  • Understand patient selection and consent for deep plane procedures.
