BDS – Body Design Surgery

General Goal:
To equip plastic surgeons with the knowledge and confidence to perform safe and effective body contouring procedures using evidence-based principles and technical artistry.

Specific Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to:

  • Identify key anatomical landmarks for safe liposuction.
  • Differentiate between conventional, HD, and LAD liposuction techniques.
  • Plan and execute gluteal fat grafting based on volume distribution and shape analysis.
  • Recognize and manage intra- and postoperative complications (seroma, asymmetry, over-resection).
  • Apply advanced contouring strategies to various body types and genders.
  • Integrate patient selection and postoperative protocols into daily practice.
